Sunday's Cool begins with our 9:21 opening (yep, that's what time Sunday's Cool begins!) in the sanctuary. After some camp style songs, offering and prayer, the students in pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade go to choir while the middle and high school students head off to their classes. After choir the younger students have class time with some awesome teachers! We have a pre-K/Kindergarten class, 1st and 2nd grade class and a 3rd-5th grade class. A bible study for adults also begins at 9:30 a.m. That's right, the learning never stops at First Lutheran!!
Along with our typical Sunday's Cool classes, we also have special events like a Health Kit drive (hosted by the Senior High Class where all students collect and assemble items for health kits used by Lutheran World Relief. We also have other special events throughout the year such as our Christmas pageant, Easter Egg Scramble, Mother's Day Brunch and more! Join us and see how much you can learn and serve!!
